The sun can be a help or a hindrance to getting our signals sent around the world, rain has an effect on propagation and outside field events! Pictured here, these stations have an external array of sensors that transmit packets of data on MHz to an indoor unit, and offer far more data than on the basic stations. If you have a computer handy, you can also upload your data to the Internet and even the APRS network.
Excessive heat warnings and heat advisories remain in effect for a large portion of the Desert Southwest into the California. Meanwhile, severe thunderstorms will be possible from the central High Plains into the Mid Mississippi Valley. These storms will feature large hail, damaging winds, perhaps a tornado or two and locally heavy rainfall, which may result in flooding.
The purpose was to distribute these units to the amateur radio community for the support of DSP related research and development. Over a three year period, TAPR provided over evaluation units into the amateur radio community. Visit the Motorola Digital Signal Processing web page. I'll cover hardware and resources for application development and present a collection of advanced DSP applications ready for amateur experimentation.
